Hot Chocolate

Marianna has started working on the e-marketing side for Breadline Africa. For all those who don't know she is a "not so closet" hot chocolate fan. I just have to say this, I actually went forth and bought the "office" Hot Chocolate. Now I just hope she remembers to bring the donuts.

Actually, between her Med Lemon stints and her April's Fool's Day give-aways she is not a "bad" girl at all.

With the second phase of the blogger bakeoff starting soon, I can't wait to see what Breadline Africa/Marianna would be up to.

April's Fools Day

For all in the know Breadline Africa is having a little give-away -not so free. You have to do a bit of work, not too much though. All you need to do is go forth and give your two cents regarding April Fool's Day. So go forth and conquer and tell me about it.

Going Undercover the Breadline Way

Unfortunately due to "public" request we won't be able to publish any photographs for the blog of the major "paint event" this decision was made unilaterally by the "paint management team" for undisclosed reasons.

Considering that I have never painted before I think I did a pretty good job of it. I got to paint one wall, one door, half a window and spilled one can of paint on one small piece of plastic sheeting........

........ and that was just me

Breadline Africa RSA

Dare I mention that we all are going to paint Breadline Africa RSA's new offices tomorrow.

Dare I mention that I'm not so sure that Tim (BLA Director) knows what he is getting himself into with me.

Dare I mention that I am utterly clueless when it comes to anything paint related.

Dare I mention I am clueless with a paintbrush.

Dare I mention I think I might be getting us a couple of volunteers to help.

Dare I mention they don't know it yet.

Dare I mention that I think it is going to be great fun - I think....

New Director

We have a new Director at Breadline Africa. Edna took Tim around a few projects a couple of weeks ago. He has a wealth of experience in the development field in South Africa and he's bringing all that to Breadline. We all are very excited about him and can't wait to get things done this coming financial year. We will keep everyone up to date in the newsletters which will be going to all the donors shortly.

Dare I say this....

If I could make a wish..... I would wish to bottle Edna's laugh - it's just so infectuous.

Traditional South African Platter

We recently went to a restaurant and had a lovely "traditional" South African Platter. We thought this was brilliant and good enough to inspire you all.Just throw a little bit of this and that together and your friends would think you're absolutely amazing. You'll be the bell of the ball and the talk of the town. Who-ever said traditional needs to be boring.
